Get the app

As an employee you use Atteny on your phone. That is where you clock in, see your schedule, ask for time off and swap shifts. You can only clock in from the app, never from the web.

Where to download it#

Atteny is in the App Store and on Google Play. Search for Atteny, or open the download page: it has both store buttons, and QR codes you can scan with your phone if you are reading this on a computer. Your invitation email links to the same page.

The app also runs on tablets. On an iPad it fills the screen and turns with the tablet; on a phone it stays upright.

The first time you open it#

   Install Atteny and open it

   Before you sign in, the app uses your phone's language if that is English, German or Spanish, and English otherwise. Once you are signed in, it follows the language of your account: a new account starts in the language of your invitation email. To choose your own, tap More, then Settings, and pick one next to Language.

   Say how you will use Atteny

   A new install opens on How will you use Atteny?.

   

   • Your employer invited you: tap Create my account on the first card. Accept your invitation walks you through it.
   • Create my company is for somebody starting a company on Atteny. It opens your browser.

   Already have an account? Sign in

   Tap Sign in at the bottom. On Welcome back, use Google, Apple or Microsoft, or type your email and password and tap Sign In.

   

What stays on the web#

Almost nothing. If your employer asks for bank details or your Social security number, you enter those in a browser at app.atteny.com; the phone app never asks for them.
