Language and appearance

Atteny speaks three languages — English, Deutsch and Español — and comes in a light and a dark look. Both are personal choices: you pick them for yourself, and nobody else on your team is affected. There is no company-wide language setting, and admins can't set a language on someone's behalf.

Both controls sit in the top bar of every page, next to your profile picture — there's nothing to save and nothing under Settings.

   Change the language

   Select the globe icon and pick English, Deutsch or Español. The page reloads in the new language and a check mark shows which one is active.

   Switch light or dark

   Select the sun / moon icon next to it. It flips straight between light and dark — light is the starting point for new accounts.

Your choices are remembered in that browser. Sign in from a different browser or computer and you'll set them again there.

What the language doesn't change

• Dates, times and money formats follow your company's Settings → General (date format, 24- or 12-hour clock, timezone, currency) — not your language. See Company basics.
• Notification texts are currently English for everyone — in-app, push and email alerts alike. The notification names you see in Settings are translated, but the messages themselves are not.
• Invitation emails are the exception: a new hire gets the invite in the language the person who invited them was using.
• Anything your company typed in — location names, roles, leave types, shift notes — appears exactly as entered.
