Time clock records
The raw event log behind every timesheet — useful when you need to prove what happened.
Time Clock Records is a read-only log of individual clock events: one line for every clock in, clock out, break start and break end. Where Timesheets shows a finished shift — in, out, breaks, hours, approval status — this page shows the raw events behind it, newest first. Nothing here can be edited.
What each row shows
- Employee and Location — who clocked, and where.
- Action — Clock In, Clock Out, Break Start or Break End.
- Timestamp — date and time in your company's time zone and format.
- Method — how the event arrived: Mobile (the clock-in button in the app), Nfc (a tag tap at the location), or Manual (an entry a manager created by hand).
- GPS Location — coordinates, on older records only. Atteny no longer stores a position: a GPS check saves just the pass-or-fail result on the time entry, so this column shows a dash for recent events.
Filters
Five filters sit above the table — Employee, Location, Start Date, End Date and Action — and combine freely; Reset Filters clears them all. The list returns up to 1000 events, so narrow the dates on a busy month rather than scrolling.
When to use it
Reach for this page when someone disputes a time, or when an auditor asks how a shift was recorded. The plain sequence of events often explains an odd total — a long break, a double clock-in — faster than the shift summary does.
