Contacting support

What to include so the first reply actually solves your problem.

You've read the article, tried the fix, and it's still wrong — or nobody at your company knows the answer. Here's where to write, and what to put in the message so the first reply solves it instead of asking three questions back.

If you're an employee or a manager, ask an administrator first. Missing buttons, switched-off features, plan seats, pay rates and timesheet corrections are all things your own admin changes in a couple of minutes — support can't change them for you.

Where to write

Every help article ends with Still need help? → Contact support, and the same link sits at the foot of the help center. Both open the Support page, where the Email support button starts a message to support@atteny.com.

The page's own promise is a reply "as soon as we can — usually within two business days". There's no phone line and no live chat, so a good first message is worth more here than anywhere else.

Put this in the first message

  • Your company's name exactly as it appears in Atteny.
  • Web or the phone app — and for the app, the number under Settings → App Version.
  • Your role: employee, manager or administrator. It decides what you're allowed to see, so it often is the answer.
  • The screen you were on, what you expected, and what happened instead.
  • The date, time and location of the affected shift or timesheet, in your own local time.
  • The error text word for word, or a screenshot. "No invitation found" and "it wouldn't let me in" lead to completely different fixes.
Match the symptom to an article first — it's usually faster than an email round trip. Hours or money look off: My hours look wrong. A button or page you were told about isn't there: I don't see that button. Can't get past sign-in: I can't sign in.

One case where support really is the only route: if sign-in shows Access suspended or Account closed, no administrator at your company can lift it. Use the Contact support button on that screen.
